Who is responsible

GetFollowers is the controller of the personal data described here. Contact: support@get-followers.co.uk.

What we collect

  • Order details: the usernames and post or video links you enter, the packages, the amount and an order reference.
  • Payment: handled by our hosted checkout provider. We receive confirmation of payment and the email address used, not your card details.
  • Lookups: when you search a username at checkout or in a calculator, we send that username to a data service to read the public profile. We don’t keep the results beyond a short cache.
  • Support emails: your messages and what we send back.
  • Basic technical data such as IP address, used briefly for security and rate-limiting.

Your basket is stored in your own browser (local storage) so it survives a page refresh. We don’t use advertising cookies or analytics trackers.

Why we use it, and the legal basis

  • To take payment and deliver your order (performance of a contract).
  • To handle refills, refunds and questions (contract and our legitimate interests).
  • To keep accounting records (legal obligation).
  • To protect the site from abuse (legitimate interests).

Who we share it with

Our payment provider, the hosting provider that runs the website, the data service used for public profile lookups, and the delivery networks that fulfil orders (which receive the username or link and the amount only). We don’t sell personal data.

International transfers

Some providers process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or adequacy regulations.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for six years for accounting. Support emails are kept for up to two years. Technical logs are kept for a short period only.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, or for it to be corrected or erased, and you can object to some uses. Email us. If you’re unhappy with how we handle your data, the UK regulator is the Information Commissioner’s Office.
